A Decade of Commitment
Since its founding in 2011, the Demoucelle Parkinson Charity has maintained a steady focus on accelerating the path towards better treatments. Over more than a decade, we have grown from a personal initiative into a strong grant-funding organisation, built on the belief that research requires sustained, long-term support. This page offers a window into the progress we have supported and the community that makes it possible.
Progress in Parkinson’s research is not the result of a single moment, but of more than a decade of constant, collective effort.
What we have achieved so far
Research Supported Over Time
Scientific progress is a gradual process of discovery and refinement. Over the years, DPC has carefully selected and funded research projects that aim to turn laboratory insights into meaningful improvements for patients. These investments are documented through our ongoing updates, reflecting our role as a catalyst for responsible, evidence-based science.

Community Engagement & Action
DPC is more than a funder; it is a community. From individual awareness actions to large-scale fundraising initiatives like “Run, or Walk, for Parkinson,” the collective energy of our volunteers and supporters is what drives our mission. These efforts reflect a sustained commitment to advancing our cause together and making sure that Parkinson’s research remains a public priority.

Accountability
Each year, we publish annual reports that document our activities, our governance, and the use of the funds entrusted to us. These reports provide a record of our work and demonstrate our accountability towards our donors and the scientific community.
