This event builds on the success of tournaments held at the club in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parkinson\u2019s disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that primarily affects those over 60, often causing tremors, muscle stiffness, and movement difficulties. While there is currently no cure, an active lifestyle\u2014including sports like golf\u2014has been shown to help manage symptoms when combined with medical treatments. Golf also offers valuable social interaction, contributing positively to the mental and emotional wellbeing of those living with the disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Proceeds from the tournament will go to the Demoucelle Parkinson Charity, a Brussels-based foundation that funds promising research projects in collaboration with its US partner The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson\u2019s Research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/demoucelle.sites-stag.agency\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/DPC-Instagram-Posts-2023-14-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"- Demoucelle Parkinson Charity\" width=\"410\"
