{"id":1737,"date":"2022-10-18T11:43:34","date_gmt":"2022-10-18T09:43:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/demoucelle.sites-stag.agency\/uncategorized\/masters-students-seek-parkinsons-patients-for-study-into-the-impact-of-dance\/"},"modified":"2026-04-04T08:42:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-04T06:42:10","slug":"masters-students-seek-parkinsons-patients-for-study-into-the-impact-of-dance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/demoucelle.sites-stag.agency\/nl\/uncategorized\/masters-students-seek-parkinsons-patients-for-study-into-the-impact-of-dance\/","title":{"rendered":"Masters students seek Parkinson\u2019s patients for study into the impact of dance"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/demoucelle.sites-stag.agency\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Dance-research-info-poster-723x1024.png\" alt=\"- Demoucelle Parkinson Charity\" width=\"284\" height=\"402\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.demoucelle.com\/blog\/charity-post\/research-dance-study\/attachment\/dance-research-info-poster\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12779 noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a><strong>STUDY OVERVIEW:<\/strong><br\/>\nUniversity of <span>Li\u00e8ge<\/span> physiotherapy Masters students want to study the impact of dance on Parkinson\u2019s patients and are looking for volunteers during 2022\/23 autumn and winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>THESIS BEING TESTED:<\/strong><br\/>\nThat dance can have both a positive functional and emotional impact on people with Parkinson\u2019s disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE?\u00a0<\/strong><br\/>\nPeople diagnosed with Parkinson\u2019s disease at stage <3 on the Hoehn &#038; Yahr scale and available to attend regular dance lessons in Liege (with at least 80% attendance rate).
