If you would like to join the team or buy some packets of tulip bulbs, please email <a href=\"mailto:anne-marie@demoucelle.com\">anne-marie@demoucelle.com<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/demoucelle.sites-stag.agency\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Tulips-for-Hope_2022_tulip-image_Barcelona.jpg\" alt=\"- Demoucelle Parkinson Charity\" width=\"202\" height=\"269\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.demoucelle.com\/blog\/charity-post\/tulipsforhope-year-3\/attachment\/tulips-for-hope_2022_tulip-image_barcelona\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12668 noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a>Demoucelle Parkinson Charity volunteers are once again selling tulip bulbs this autumn in support of Parkinson\u2019s disease research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, passionate gardener Isabelle has decided to sell packets of bulbs that will produce pink tulips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cWhile the official symbol for Parkinson\u2019s disease is a red and white tulip, we have decided to vary the colours we offer each year in the hope that people will buy our bulbs annually and thereby bring variety to their gardens and support Parkinson\u2019s research,\u2019\u2019<\/em> Isabelle said.\u00a0 <em>\u201cThis year\u2019s deep pink will create a striking display in gardens and containers next Spring.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each packet of 20 bulbs will be sold for 15 euros and Isabelle\u2019s aim is to sell 900 packets with the help of 45 volunteers. The bulbs will be available from the end of September until early December and Isabelle is hopeful that more people will join the volunteer sales team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/demoucelle.sites-stag.agency\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Tulips-for-Hope_Images-5-868x1024.jpg\" alt=\"- Demoucelle Parkinson Charity\" width=\"210\" height=\"247\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.demoucelle.com\/?attachment_id=12671\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12326 noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a>\u201cIt is a wonderfully simple way to get involved. Selling 20 packets of tulip bulbs to friends, family and colleagues is a manageable target both in terms of time and energy. Every sale sparks a conversation about Parkinson\u2019s disease and helps to fund a promising late-stage research project,\u2019\u2019<\/em> she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The international symbol for Parkinson\u2019s disease is a red tulip and over the past two years the \u2018Tulips for Hope\u2019 fundraiser has raised around 25,000 euros.
